NSIPA In Perspective
Who are insurance premium auditors? Insurance premium auditors are individuals with technical skills who assure statistics are reported for proper rate structure implementation and processing. Insurance premium auditors also provide quality control between companies and customers within the insurance industry.
Goals of NSIPA
- Provide a forum for the exchange, development, and dissemination of technical information.
- Promote the growth and development of the profession.
- Contribute to the insurance industry the knowledge and experience of the professional premium auditor.
- Provide a certification procedure for premium auditors.
- Provide for liaison with related disciplines.
- Establish uniform standards for premium auditing.
- Further the purpose and objectives of the profession.
Mission Statement
The National Society of Insurance Premium Auditors (NSIPA) is committed to the growth, development, professionalism and education of the insurance premium auditor and the insurance industry.
Board of Directors
Board Composition
The Board of Directors shall consist of 1) Voting Members who are the elected officers of the Society (the "Officers") and the Immediate Past President of the Society (the "Past President") and one representative from each of the recognized Regional Auditors Associations (the "Regional Vice Presidents") shall be voting Members of the Board, (the "Directors"); 2) Non-Voting Members who are comprised of the Executive Secretary, the Treasurer and the Chairman, if any, of the Committees. The entire board includes the Officers, the Executive Secretary, the Treasurer, the Past President, and Regional Vice Presidents and the Committee Chairman. All members of the Board are to be Members in good standing of the Society.

Elections
NSIPA holds annual elections for Officer positions of the Board of Directors. These elections are typcially held using an online ballot in the spring, with the announcement made to members at the Annual Meeting and the positions beginning on the first day of the next fiscal/membership year - July 1.
